Community Literacy Day

BRIDGE presents Community Literacy Day is a transformative community initiative centered on the power of literacy to drive lasting change. Designed for the entire community – with a special emphasis on rural and underserved families with children from infancy to age nine. This event is a catalyst for education, connection, and empowerment.

Bridging the Gap Conversational Series

This is an initiative that provides a safe, open, and constructive platform for residents of rural and underserved areas to engage in crucial conversations about race, culture, and local issues. These discussions are not only about talking; they are also about listening, learning, and fostering a sense of unity, collaboration, and actionable change within the community.

Greater Fayette County Military Coalition

The initiative aims to address the unique challenges rural residents face—including limited access to healthcare services, fewer educational resources, and barriers to community wellness—by leveraging the combined expertise of BRIDGE, the VA, and WCC. Together, the coalition will deliver outreach programs, wellness initiatives, and knowledge-empowerment opportunities that strengthen rural families and honor those who have served.
